MEASURE Data Support
Each year, we partner with select organizations to provide anti-racist data that mobilizes them to effect change in their communities. We offer four types of data evaluation tools for FREE to powerful Black, Brown and Indigenous-led organizations.
The Measure CARE Model
Collaborate with Measure facilitators and data activists to refine, plan and implement community-led solutions for a social justice issue.
How It Works
The Measure CARE Model takes your organization through three phases and provides final deliverables to help ensure you give the support the community needs.
PHASE 1:
Define and align on the ways systemic racism has impacted the problem. Next, understand the experiences and needs of the community. Finally, strengthen the commitment to dismantling racism to better serve them.
PHASE 2:
Define community-led solutions and create a plan to achieve it.

Finalize a community mobilization guide you can use to work on solving the problem and measure progress along the way.

Community Mobilization Guide that includes Data Collection Plan, Historic Timeline, Theory of Change, Stakeholder Map and more.
Partnership Length

Infographic Storytelling
Measure’s data activists help organizations turn their existing data into infographics. These visual representations are sharable and can be used to advocate for change.
How It Works
- Review your data to make sure it’s complete, identify any gaps and research what needs to be done to fill them.
- Create a selection of designs that best represent your organization’s branding to help people quickly understand your data.
- Structure content in a way that considers audiences who may be unfamiliar with your data and encourage them to see the bigger picture.

Measure Equity Focus Group
Measure helps create online community surveys, designed by the community, that collect people’s ideas on an issue impacting social justice or equity.
How It Works
- Collaborate with powerful Black, Brown and Indigenous communities to develop questions that are simple and straightforward.
- Widely distruibute survey until there is enough participation to create a reliable and representative data set.
- Analyze responses and turn them into a usuable data report with recommendations in the form of a Black paper published on our site.
