Measure Ignite Beta
The Social Impact Village for Data Driven Changemakers
In 2020, a survey by Measure revealed that 79% of over 100 Black-led organizations in Austin, TX lacked systems for collecting, sharing, and learning from data. This deficiency hinders their ability to create and collect data easily, and it complicates the process of accessing and utilizing existing data effectively.
Measure Ignite Beta is the solution to this critical problem. Our platform empowers organizations to overcome data collection and utilization barriers by providing an all-in-one resource for networking, celebrating achievements, and igniting change. Whether you’re a organization looking for resources or an ally wanting to support the cause, Measure Ignite Beta is your platform for connecting, learning, and thriving.
The Innocence Initiative
Ending Adultification Bias Against Black Girls
The Innocence Initiative is designed to educate and build awareness about adultification bias. Adultification bias is a form of racial prejudice where Black and Brown children are treated by adults as being more mature than they actually are. Black girls are disproportionately affected by adultification bias. We elevate the data, amplify the real-life stories of Black girls through trainings, and address disparities that perpetuate adultification through advocacy.
Help us elevate the stories and data surrounding adultification bias. Become an advocate and spread the word about this critical issue.
